The Southern Virginia Higher Education Center (SVHEC) invites the community to enjoy an afternoon of food, fun, and friendly competition at the Campus Connect Cornhole Tourney & Food Truck Rodeo on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

This exciting event kicks off at 12:00 PM with a Food Truck Rodeo featuring six food trucks serving up a variety of delicious eats. Invited trucks include Southern Belle, Full Circle Pizza, Breedlove’s Seafood RVA, The Snowcone Shack, Out Da Mudd Smokehouse, and Wayne’s Fish & Chicken. Whether you’re in the mood for savory, sweet, or something in between, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
At 2:00 PM, the action continues with the start of the cornhole tournament. The double-elimination tournament will feature teams of two competing under the 21-point bust rule. Team members must be at least 16 years old to compete. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, with the tournament winner taking home a set of custom cornhole boards made by ProductWorks—SVHEC’s product development and design team.
The tournament is open to the first 20 registered teams, with a $25 entry fee per team. Participants may register by scanning the QR code on the event flyer, dropping off their completed form at SVHEC, or mailing it to the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center
