Davonta Mitchell

Davonta Mitchell completed the IT Academy’s IT Fundamentals+, A+, and Server+ classes and launched his IT career. He enrolled in the IT Academy so he could pursue a career in a field he would enjoy. His favorite part of the program were the teachers. “They’re all great people–patient and very smart,” he said.

The IT Academy helped Davonta launch his career by providing him with opportunities, and making him knowledgable about the things he’d be working with on the job. Today, he is a Network Technician with River City Systems. “It will be worth it in the end. Don’t get discouraged if a job doesn’t happen right away–one WILL come.”
