LaVerne Williams was on a bad path and struggling with the disease of addiction. After moving to South Boston, VA from Baltimore, MD, she was able to start her journey of recovery–a journey that eventually led her to the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center and attaining a goal she’d once thought impossible.
