Network+ teaches the technical skills needed to securely set up, support and troubleshoot the essential networks that businesses rely on. Topics include basic networking concepts including services, physical connections, topologies, and cloud connectivity. You will work with routing technologies, deploy ethernet solutions and configure wireless networks using real equipment. Network operations, security and troubleshooting are also part of the curriculum. This course prepares students for the CompTIA Network+ exam N10-008.

This is a data analytics course to help business professionals better analyze, interpret, and present data to promote data-driven business decision-making. Students will learn data concepts and environments, develop data mining skills, and learn to apply appropriate statistical methods. A key part of the course is data visualization- how to translate business requirements to create the appropriate form of a report or dashboard using proper design components. Students will also be introduced to data governance and quality control concepts. This is a hybrid course with one three hour class session per week combined with 2 1/2hrs of independent work outside of class time.
