Summer Career Camps

Area students are invited to attend free career focused camps at SVHEC this summer. Camps will focus on exploring in-demand careers in healthcare, entrepreneurship, and information technology (IT). Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required.
Entrepreneurship Camp, June 9-11, 9:00am-1:00pm| Rising 10th-12th Graders: Join us for an unforgettable experience where innovation meets inspiration! High school students with a passion for business and creativity are invited to learn the skills to become tomorrow’s leaders and entrepreneurs. Through hands-on workshops with successful entrepreneurs, real-world business challenges and team competitions, and mentorship from industry leaders camp attendees will gain valuable skills in marketing, finance, product development and more.
Healthcare Careers Summer Camp, Camp 1: June 11-15| Camp 2: July 16-18, 9am-3:00pm| Rising 9th-12th Graders: Are you curious about a healthcare career or looking for a way to see if healthcare might have a rewarding career opportunity for you? The Healthcare Careers Summer Camp is your opportunity to explore the world of healthcare through interactive activities, hands-on training, and connecting with healthcare professionals. Register today for Camp 1 or Camp 2; spaces are limited so register early to secure your spot!
IT Career Summer Camp, June 23-25, 8:30am-11:30am| Rising 8th-10th Graders: Join us for an unforgettable IT adventure. Learn from an experienced IT professional while making new friends that share your interests. Whether you are a budding coder, a future cybersecurity expert, or just someone eager to explore the wonders of the digital realm, this camp is perfect for you. The camp will cover computer components basics, disassembly & component identification, troubleshooting, and an escape room challenge.
