Mechatronics covers a wide range of topics including electrical components, pneumatic systems, and Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs). With 240 training hours, trainees are prepared to quickly identify and correct malfunctions with automated equipment. “I find the class to be very informative especially in real situations and not just theory,” said current Mechatronics trainee Tyler Whitlow.
Level 1 training may be completed in as little as six months, and provides trainees with an opportunity to earn the internationally recognized Siemens Level 1 Mechatronics Certification. Past program completers have gone on to have successful careers as machine operators, technicians, and electricians.
Financial assistance is available, and qualified individuals may be eligible to have up to two-thirds of the cost of training funded. For more information, or to reserve a spot at one of the upcoming information sessions contact Scarlett Brandon, SoVA CME Program/Marketing Coordinator at 572.5473 or email email@example.com.
